Pulled up to a home near the North Towne area of Cartersville where the homeowner said the AC had been cooling poorly for about three weeks and two companies had already been out without finding anything wrong. Ran a careful diagnostic and found a failed thermostatic expansion valve that was restricting refrigerant flow through the evaporator coil. When a TXV fails in a Northwest Georgia summer the system just cannot pull heat and humidity out of the air the way it needs to and it can look fine on a basic check if you are not testing the right things. Replaced the valve, verified refrigerant charge and pressures, and ran an extended cooling cycle to confirm the system was performing correctly. House reached set temperature for the first time in three weeks.

Arrived on site and removed the existing 1/2 HP garbage disposal. Installed a new 1/2 HP garbage disposal, reconnected the drain and electrical connections, and verified all fittings were secure. Restored power and tested the disposal for proper operation while checking for leaks. Unit is functioning correctly with no leaks found. Cleaned the work area and left the installation complete and operating as intended.
Installed two high-quality Studor vents on lavatory drain lines to improve air flow and ensure proper venting throughout the plumbing system. Reconfigured the shower drain to correct pitch and alignment, allowing for smooth drainage and preventing future clogs or backups. All work completed to meet local plumbing code, improving overall system performance and reliability.

Completed a full residential water line and PVC drain repipe. Verified that all new water lines were properly connected and secured before restoring water service. Water pressure is operating at 64 PSI and all plumbing fixtures were tested for proper performance. Flushed every toilet and ran all faucets, showers, and fixtures to confirm proper water flow, drainage, and system operation. Thoroughly inspected the entire repipe for leaks, and no leaks were found. The new PVC drain system was also tested and is functioning properly with all connections secure. Work area was cleaned, and the plumbing system is fully operational and ready for use.

Pulled up to a home in the Waterford neighborhood over in Cartersville where the homeowner said the AC had been running nonstop for two days straight and the house still hadn't gotten below 79 degrees. Found the condenser coil packed solid with cottonwood and Georgia red clay dust. The kind of buildup that shuts down heat transfer and just makes the system hammer away without ever catching up. Cleaned the coil with a low-pressure rinse, inspected the capacitor and contactor while I had everything open, and ran a full cooling cycle to confirm the temperature split came back where it belonged. System's running efficient again and not burning up their electric bill trying to fight the summer heat.

Mounted a panel-level surge protection device at the main electrical panel, connected it according to manufacturer specifications, and verified grounding and indicator status. Explained proper operation to the homeowner and confirmed all circuits were protected before completing the job.
